Directions

The building (an old AME Church) is a three-story, light brick with stained glass windows and white columns in the front, located at the corner of Florence and Good-Latimer (near Live Oak Ave.), next door to the Latino Cultural Center.   There are two parking lots, one off Good-Latimer, and the other off of Florence at the back of the building.  As you enter the front door, the elevator is to the right and the MHA offices are on the second and third floors of the building.

I-30 WEST (From MESQUITE/GARLAND):
Take I-30 to 75 North and exit immediately at Bryan Street. Take the curve around to the right which puts you on Cantegral.  Cross over Live Oak and turn right on Florence.  

I-30 EAST (From FT. WORTH/ARLINGTON):
Take I-30 East through the “mix-master” and the “canyon” to 75 North.  Exit Bryan Street. Take the curve around to the right which puts you on Cantegral.  Cross over Live Oak and turn right on Florence.

FROM DOWNTOWN DALLAS:
Take Commerce Street or Main Street East all the way through downtown.  Pass under Central Expressway (75) & go left on Good-Latimer.  Go under the Deep Ellum Bridge.  The building is on the right just past Swiss.

I-35 SOUTH TOWARDS DOWNTOWN:
Option A: Exit I-45 North to Houston. This loops around and back over I-35.  Follow the I-45 sign to the right as it goes south and exit Live Oak.  Take a right on Pearl Street and a right on Bryan. Take the curve around to the right which puts you on Cantegral.  Cross over Live Oak and turn right on Florence.

I-35 NORTH (From OAK CLIFF/DESOTO):
Take I-30 East toward Texarkana. Then follow the directions under I-30 EAST.
Or follow the Alternate Route through Downtown.

CENTRAL EXPRESSWAY (75) SOUTH:
Option A:  Take the first Live Oak exit which is a left-hand exit.  Before you intersect Live Oak, there is a right hand turn off the exit ramp that says Good-Latimer/Bryan Street, take this right and follow it around to the left.  Take the Good-Latimer lane and go back under Central (75).  The building will be straight ahead on the left side of the street.  Take a left across traffic onto Florence.
Option B:  Turn left on Haskell and go back over 75. Take Haskell to Live Oak and go right. Pass through the signal light at Texas Street. Take the next left onto Cantegral.  Take the next right onto Florence Street. OR Pass Cantegral, next left is Good-Latimer.

I-45 NORTH TOWARD DOWNTOWN:
Take I-45 North until it ends and merges with 75 North. Exit Bryan Street. Take the curve around to the right, which puts you on Cantegral.  Cross over Live Oak and turn right on Florence.

TOLLWAY SOUTH:
Go through the final toll plaza, stay in the left lane & take the Downtown/Harry Hines Exit.  Go left on Pearl Street.  Follow Pearl as it curves around until you intersect Pacific Avenue and go left.  Go straight under Central Expressway (75).  The street becomes Gaston Avenue at this point.  Take the second street on the left, which is Cantegral and the third street on your left is Florence.

FROM IRVING/HURST/EULESS/BEDFORD:
Take 183 or 114 to I-35 South. Then follow the directions under I-35 SOUTH.

FROM LOVE FIELD AIRPORT:
When leaving the airport, turn left on Mockingbird & right on Lemmon Avenue.  Pass over Central Expressway (75) and turn right onto Washington. Go right on Live Oak.  Pass through the light at Texas & take the next left on Cantegral & the next right on Florence.
